Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 27: Aamir Khan and his fans have been on cloud nine lately and rightfully so. After all, Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist, who was last seen in the 2022 release Laal Singh Chaddha, had hit the screens after three years with Sitaare Zameen Par. Directed by RS Prasanna and also starring Genelia Deshmukh, Sitaare Zameen Par has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and it did open to rave reviews from the audience and critics.

To note, Sitaare Zameen Par is the official Bollywood remake of Spanish film Champions and revolves around a basketball coach who has been given a community service to coach a team of the intellectually disabled adults for an upcoming basketball tournament. Interestingly, Sitaare Zameen Par also features Aroush Datta as Satbir, Gopi Krishnan Varma as Guddu, Vedant Sharmaa as Bantu, Naman Misra as Hargovind, Rishi Shahani as Sharmaji, Rishabh Jain as Raju, Ashish Pendse as Sunil Gupta, Samvit Desai as Karim Qureshi, Simran Mangeshkar as Golu Khan, Aayush Bhansali as Lotus, Dolly Ahluwalia as Preeto, Gulshan's mother and Sunita's mother-in-law and Gurpal Singh as Kartar Paaji.

As Sitaare Zameen Par has been in the fourth week, it continues to win hearts despite the new releases. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par minted Rs 50 lakhs on day 27 (fourth Wednesday) which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 162.50 crores

With a collection of Rs 50 lakhs on day 27, Sitaare Zameen Par has managed to beat Housefull 5. In fact, Aamir starrer minted over 233% more than Akshay's multi-starrer comedy drama. For the uninitiated, Housefull 5 had minted Rs 15 lakhs on its fourth Wednesday.

Earlier, talking about Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir stated, "Well, it's a beautiful story. Actually, the easiest way I can describe it is that Taare Zameen Par is a very emotional film which makes you cry. Sitaare Zameen Par makes you laugh, it's a humorous film. The theme is similar, of people with different abilities, different intelligence, or with different challenges. But, it's humour as opposed to emotions".
