Sky Force Advance Booking Day 1: Akshay Kumar, the 'Khiladi' of Bollywood, is gearing up for his first release of the year with 'Sky Force'. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, the patriotic film is undoubtedly one of the most highly-anticipated releases of the year. Based on true events, the Hindi-language patriotic aerial-actioner has kickstarted its advance booking on a decent note.

Jointly produced by Dinesh Vijan-led Maddock Films, Amar Kaushik and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Jio Studios, Sky Force brings the untold story of a heroic sacrifice - the tale of India's first and deadliest airstrike - on big screens.
Featuring Akshay Kumar as Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, the patriotic aerial actioner stars debutant Veer Pahariya as T. Vijaya. Set against the backdrop of Indo-Pakistan's 1965 airstrike, the film marks Veer's big Bollywood debut. Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur will also be seen in important roles.
After a long wait, Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya starrer Sky Force is finally all set for its theatrical release on 24th January 2025 (Friday), ahead of the Republic Day.
Sky Force Advance Booking Day 1
The advance booking of started yesterday (Jan 21) in limited screens. As reported by Pinkvilla, the film sold around 40k-60k tickets in the top National chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis, till yesterday. According to the latest Sacnilk updates, the pre-sales report looks decent as of now. The film has reportedly sold around 10k tickets domestically till 12:15 pm today, grossing Rs 18.95 lakhs approx. for the opening day. The total amount is now estimated to be at Rs 43.79 lakhs (with block seats). The advance booking sales is likely to start in its full-fledged form today onwards.

With still 2 more days to go for its theatrical premiere, Sky Force has a decent buzz around the release and is expected to beat Sarfira's pre-sales for opening day through advance booking. As per Sacnilk, Sarfira had sold over 34k tickets, grossing around Rs 1.41 cr (with block seats) for the opening day.
