Sky Force BO Collection Day 1 Early Updates: Akshay Kumar’s Film Falls Short Of Fighter’s Opening Collection
Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 1 Early Updates: Sky Force marks Veer Pahariya's Bollywood debut, with Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur leading the cast. The movie had a promising start at the box office, boosted by a ticket price reduction to just Rs. 25-50, which certainly attracted a larger audience. Interestingly, Sky Force has been frequently compared to Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. So, has Sky Force outdone Fighter based on early Day 1 updates? Let's see the current box office collection of Sky Force.
Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 1 Early Updates
According to Sacnilk's report, Sky Force collected Rs. 10.81 Crore on Day 1 as of 10.00 pm. Sky Force has been experiencing a pretty good opening day at the box office. However, comparisons with Hrithik Roshan's Fighter have been drawn incessantly and it seems like the two movies are worlds apart on premiere day collections. For your information, Fighter had collected Rs. 22.5 Crore on its opening day, and Sky Force hasn't even crossed half of that number. Will Sky Force be able to match Fighter's opening day? We'll have to wait until the day concludes to get the final figures.
Veer Pahariya's character, Squadron Leader T. Krishna "Tabby" Vijay, in the movie is inspired by Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya, the Mahavir Chakra awardee. Veer paid tribute to the real-life hero with the presence of Devayya's family at the screening. Uploading a clip where Veer is talking about the movie with Mrs. Sundari Devayya, wife of late Squadron Leader, he wrote, "As Mrs. Devayya said, 'You're not just an actor today, you're his grandson in spirit'-I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and responsibility. This role isn't just a milestone in my career; it's a tribute to an unsung hero and his legacy (sic)."
