Sky Force, which is in its second week now, has been maintaining a good hold at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sky Force saw over 65% hike yesterday and minted Rs 5 crores on day 9 (second Saturday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 94.5 crores

Given the ongoing trend, Sky Force is likely to see another jump in numbers today (day 10/ second Sunday). The movie is expected to rake in Rs 6-8 crores at the box office and will be entering the coveted Rs 100cr club during the second weekend.

Meanwhile talking about Sky Force, Akshay told HT City, "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah.
