Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 7: Akshay Kumar has been one of the most talked about and talented actors in the industry and there are no second thoughts about it. The superstar, who has given us several patriotic films, is now making headlines for his first release of 2025 which has instilled patriotic vibes among the fans. We are talking about Sky Force which is an action drama which is helmed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani and features Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, Sharad Kelkar and newcomer Veer Pahariya in the lead. To note, Sky Force happens to be the most anticipated releases of the year.

Interestingly, Sky Force is based on India's first airstrike, the Sargodha airbase attack on Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965. While the movie marks Akshay's first film in the role of an Indian Air Force Officer and his camaraderie with Veer has been winning hearts. As Sky Force has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, it has been doing a decent business at the box office since the first day.

Sky Force, which made an opening day collection of Rs 11.25 crores, the movie witnessed an impressive hold at the box office despite a massive drop in numbers on first Monday. While Sky Force minted Rs 6 crores on day 6 (first Wednesday), it saw a slight drop in numbers on day 7 (first Thursday) and minted Rs 5.50 crores which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 86.50 crores

Interestingly, Sky Force records the highest first Thursday collection of 2025. This isn't all. With an overall collection of Rs 86.50 crores so far, Sky Force has turned out to be the second highest grossing film of Akshay Kumar post COVID 19 pandemic after Sooryavanshi. It will be interesting to see if Sky Force will continue to fly high in the coming days.

Meanwhile talking about Sky Force, Akshay told HT City, "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah. Aap log vishwas karenge ki 23 saal baad inke parivar ko sarkaar ne maha vir chakra diya? The whole film is not only about war, it is also about what happens to the family and the children left behind".
