Sky Force Box Office Day 3: Akshay’s Film Surpasses Fighter In Morning Shows Occupancy On 1st Sunday

Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 3 (Morning Show Occupancy): Akshay Kumar has captured significant attention with his latest film, Sky Force, marking his inaugural release for the year. Sky Force, a highly anticipated patriotic drama, is directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani. Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films took the helm of production. Alongside Akshay, the cast includes Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, and newcomer Veer Pahariya, enriching the narrative with their performances.
The story of Sky Force is set against the backdrop of a historical moment, portraying the first airstrike by India on the Sargodha airbase in Pakistan during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war. Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya step into the shoes of Indian Air Force officers, with their characters' spouses played by Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan. Adding to the ensemble, Sharad Kelkar assumes the role of an officer in the Pakistani Air Force. This compelling cast composition has contributed significantly to the Sky Force's buzz in the entertainment sphere.
Sky Force Morning Show Occupancy Day 3
After recording a box office collection of Rs 22 crores on day 2, Sky Force has been witnessing a decent hike at the ticket windows on third day of release. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sky Force witnessed an occupancy of 26.78% today (day 3/ first Sunday) on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day. It is evidently more that the morning occupancy for Sky Force yesterday which was around 23.53%.
Sky Force Beats Fighter On First Sunday
Interestingly, aSky Force has been witnessing a frequent comparison with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's Fighter, the movie has managed to beat Siddharth Anand's aerial action drama once again on the first Sunday of release and even on day 3 post release. For the uninitiated, Fighter had recorded a footfall of 17.06% in morning shows on the third day of release while it was 20.29% on first Sunday.
Meanwhile talking about Sky Force, Akshay told HT City, "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah. Aap log vishwas karenge ki 23 saal baad inke parivar ko sarkaar ne maha vir chakra diya? The whole film is not only about war, it is also about what happens to the family and the children left behind".
