Sky Force Box Office Day 8: Akshay’s Action Film Sees Hike In Footfalls In Morning Shows Amid Deva Release

Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 8 (Morning Show Occupancy): Akshay Kumar, a highly celebrated actor recognized for his contributions to patriotic cinema, is currently in the spotlight for his latest project, Sky Force. Akshay Kumar starrer Sky Force saw a hike in footfalls on second Friday post release despite a new release (Deva) in theatres. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sky Force saw a footfalls of 7.89% today (day 8/ second Friday). To note, this happens to be the highest occupancy in the morning show on the second Friday.
Did Sky Force Beat Fighter On Second Friday?
Amid frequent comparisons have been made between Sky Force and Hrithik Roshan's Fighter, this Akshay-Veer's action drama managed to beat the latter on day 8 and the second Friday. For the uninitiated, Fighter had recorded a footfall of 7.77% on the second Friday.
Meanwhile talking about Sky Force, Akshay told HT City, "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah. Aap log vishwas karenge ki 23 saal baad inke parivar ko sarkaar ne maha vir chakra diya? The whole film is not only about war, it is also about what happens to the family and the children left behind".
