Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 9 (Morning Show Occupancy): Akshay Kumar's latest cinematic venture, Sky Force, has been stirring quite the buzz in the entertainment world. Akshay Kumar starrer Sky Force, which started the second week on a good note, saw a hike in footfalls on second Saturday post release. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sky Force saw a footfalls of 9.27% today (day 9/ second Saturday). To note, this happens to be the highest occupancy in the morning show on the second Saturday.
Sky Force Beats Fighter On Day 9
As frequent comparisons have been made between Sky Force and Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's Fighter, this Akshay-Veer's action drama managed to beat the latter on day 9. For the uninitiated, Fighter had recorded a footfall of 7.78% on day 9.
Meanwhile talking about Sky Force, Akshay told HT City, "Everyone declared him (Sqd. Ldr. A.B. Devaiah) a traitor and 23 saal tak kisi ko nahi pata tha that actually he was a hero. The character I play, Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, based on Group Captain O.P Taneja, is senior to the character Veer plays in the film - T. Vijaya, based on Sqd. Ldr. Devaiah. Aap log vishwas karenge ki 23 saal baad inke parivar ko sarkaar ne maha vir chakra diya? The whole film is not only about war, it is also about what happens to the family and the children left behind".
