Sky Force Box Office Collection Prediction Day 17: Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya's much-talked-about patriotic film 'Sky Force' has slowed down its pace. A little hike in numbers is anticipated over the weekend. But will it be able to meet expectations amidst the re-release craze around Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane starrer 'Sanam Teri Kasam'?

For those unversed, the Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani directorial marks the highest opening Hindi film in 2025 so far. Based on the deadly Indo-Pakistan air strike in 1965, the film was released in cinemas on 24th January 2025 ahead of the Republic Day.

Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 16 (Yesterday)

Starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, Sky Force also features Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khana and Nimrat Kaur among others in key roles. Amid a decent pre-release buzz, the movie surpassed expectations and scored a whopping Rs 12.25 cr on the day of its release. Due to the positive word-of-mouth, the film went on to rake in Rs 86.5 cr in its 1st week, followed by a sharp drop of over 77% in 2nd week.

As per Sacnilk, the movie added Rs 19.05 cr in week 2. The film has been recording slow growth since Friday (day 15) due to new movie releases including some re-releases. According to Sacnilk, Sky Force managed to record a slight growth in numbers and earned roughly around Rs 1.50 cr yesterday (3rd Saturday), taking the total estimated nett collection to Rs 107.85 cr in 16 days.

Week 1: ₹ 86.5 Cr

Week 2: ₹ 19.05 Cr

Day 15 (3rd Friday): ₹ 0.8 Cr

Day 16 (3rd Saturday): ₹ 1.50 Cr

Total - Rs 107.85 CRORES!

Sky Force Box Office Collection Prediction Day 17 (3rd Sunday)

Since it's a Sunday, Akshay Kumar-Veer Pahariya's Sky Force is likely to maintain yesterday's pace at ticket counters. Given the buzz, the film is expected to earn somewhere between Rs 1.5-2 cr today (day 17). If the prediction turns out to be right, the movie will inch closer to the Rs 110 cr-mark by the end of 3rd weekend.

To note, the film needs to earn Rs 2.15 cr approximately today to cross Rs 110 cr in 3rd weekend. The re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam has managed to give a tough competition to other releases this week.
