Thandel (Hindi) Box Office Collection Day 1 (Morning Show Occupancy): Naga Chaitanya, a prominent actor, has been in the public eye for both his personal and professional achievements. Recently, after tying the knot with Sobhita Dhulipala in a lavish ceremony, he has captivated the audience once again with his latest film, Thandel. This movie, a blend of romance and action, marks his first release of the year. It has been made available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, showcasing its broad appeal.
Thandel was brought to life under the production of Bunny Vasu through Geetha Arts. The film's cast includes Prakash Belawadi, who plays a Pakistani jailer, alongside Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, Karunakaran, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Kalpa Latha, and Kalyani Natarajan, all in significant roles. The storyline takes the audience through the harrowing experiences of Srikakulam fishermen. These fishermen unintentionally find themselves in Pakistani waters during what was meant to be a routine fishing expedition.

Much to everyone's surprise, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's Thandel saw a good start at the box office in the Hindi market. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Thandel saw a footfall of 5.96% during the morning shows today (day 1/ first Friday) in the Hindi market
Thandel Fails To Beats Loveyapa On Day 1 Occupancy (Morning Show)
Interestingly, with an occupancy of 5.96% in morning shows on opening day in the Hindi market, Thandel has managed to beat Deva and Loveyapa which recorded a footfall of 5.87% and 5.65% in morning shows on its day of release.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Thandel is based on the true events of fishermen from Srikakulam. The media reports suggest that Thandel focuses on Chodipilli Musalayya who had joined 30 fishermen on a fishing trip in six boats in 2000 who endured a harrowing journey after drifting into Pakistani waters while fishing.
