The Bhootnii Box Office Collection Day 2: Sanjay Dutt's recent release The Bhootnii has come with a perfect blend of horror and comedy and it has been the talk of the town since its release. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, The Bhootnii features also features Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles. While the trailer did manage to create some buzz, The Bhootnii has encountered challenges in generating substantial interest and has underperformed at the box office.

The Bhootnii marks a Sanjay Dutt's first collaboration with Mouni Roy and narrates the story of a ghost that haunts a college and emerges every Valentine's Day. While Mouni plays the ghost who becomes infatuated with a young man portrayed by Sunny Singh, fear grips the institution following which Sanjay Dutt's character, a 'Ghostbuster' Baba, is called upon to tackle the paranormal activities. Despite this intriguing premise, The Bhootnii has received mixed reactions from viewers and faced a sluggish start at the box office, especially with a fierce competition from Ajay Devgn's Raid 2.

After raking in Rs 65 lakhs on the opening day, The Bhootnii witnessed a slight dip in numbers on the second day of release. According to a report published in Sacnilk, The Bhootnii minted Rs 62 lakhs which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 1.27 crores

The Bhootnii vs Raid 2: Who Won On Day 2?

As The Bhootnii is witnessing a box office clash with Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2, the latter has managed to crush the horror comedy. For the uninitiated, Raid 2 had minted Rs 12 crores on the second day of release and has managed to cross Rs 31 crores in two days.

Meanwhile, Mouni Roy recently sung praises about Sanjay Dutt and told IANS, "I am a huge fan of Sanjay Sir. I mean, who isn't? He's a very experienced actor, but not once did he show it off on the sets. He was always there to guide us, teach us, offer us his experience, share his learnings. I was naturally very intimidated by a man of his stature, but he made sure to make me feel comfortable and was approachable to all of us".
