The Diplomat Box Office Collection Day 4 Early Update: The Diplomat has been one of the most-talked about Bollywood movies in 2025 after Chhaava, which smashed the box office records of many big big Indian films. However, despite garnering significant buzz, the John Abraham starrer political drama has failed to mint big on its opening day, even lower than John's earlier film, Vedaa, which minted Rs. 6.3 Cr on its opening day. The movie, which revolves around a true story of an Indian diplomat, J.P. Singh, and his daring mission to rescue a girl from Pakistan who was forced marry in the foreign land.
J.P. Singh, is now posted to Israel, was the Indian ambassador to Pakistan in 2017 when the case occured & the diplomat repatriated the young girl with the help of then External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj. Apart from John Abraham, the Shivam Nair directorial movie also stars Sadia Khateeb, Prapti Shukla, Jagjeet Sandhu, Ashwath Bhatt, Sharib Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, Ram Gopal Bajaj, among others.

The Diplomat minted Rs. 88 lakhs as of 8pm, on day 4 according to the early updates of Sacnilk. The movie has witnessed a steep decline in numbers today compared to yesterday, when it earned Rs. 4.65 Cr seeing 0% growth compared to its day 2. On day 2, i.e., 1st Saturday, the movie has seen 16.25% growth compared to opening day when it minted Rs. 4 Cr.
The movie has collected total Rs. 14.18 Cr nett at the domestic box office so far as of 8pm, on day 4. Now, seeing the trend in today's collection, it can be predicted that the movie might cross Rs. 1 Cr today at the box office as it still has 2 hours to work at the box office before it closes.
