Interestingly, Udaipur Files is witnessing a box office clash with Rajkummar Rao starrer Maalik and Vikrant Massey's Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. Given the prediction, Udaipur Files is likely to be overshadowed by the other two as given the box office prediction by Rohit Jaiswal, Maalik is expected to rake in Rs 1.5-2 cr and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is likely to earn 75L-1cr

Meanwhile, Udaipur Files faced a legal hurdle after a petition was filed to halt the release claiming that the movie had shown a one-sided picture of the events in the gruesome case. However, the Supreme Court had refused to halt the release and Udaipur Files will hit the screens on July 11.
