Amidst the growing excitement, the limited advance booking for War 2 has already kickstarted in the USA and Canada, as per reports.

Yash Raj Films has officially announced the theatrical release of War 2 on August 14, 2025, perfectly timed for the Independence Day weekend - and the fandom is already in full roar mode. According to MovieTalkies, War 2 is said to be the most expensive film in YRF's spy universe. As the report suggests, the highly-anticipated sequel is apparently made on a staggering budget of Rs 450 cr.

Returning as the suave yet lethal agent Kabir, Hrithik Roshan brings back his brooding charm and martial prowess. But this time, the stakes are higher - he's up against South Indian megastar Jr NTR, making his Bollywood debut in a never-seen-before antagonist role.

As per the latest update, the overseas advance booking in the USA kick-started today (July 27) with a bang.

According to the 'BFilmy Official' Twitter page, the Telugu dubbed version has reportedly overtaken the Hindi. As per the tweet, a total of 272 tickets have been sold for the opening day, out of which 158 tickets were of the Telugu version. Reportedly, the Hindi version has grossed $2,101 (around 1.81 lakhs INR), while the Telugu language earned around $4,140 (3.57 lakh INR approx.)

The advance booking for War 2 is yet to begin in India. Expect fireworks at the box office and on screen this Independence Day.
