Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Re-Release Box Office Collection Day 2: The re-release of 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' on big screens was the best way to start 2025. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin in the lead, the classic romantic-comedy made its way back in theatres after almost 12 years. Amid high anticipation, the Ayan Mukerji directorial released once again cinemas on 3rd January 2025. From Ranbir-Deepika's unbeatable chemistry to the friendship between Bunny, Naina, Avi and Aditi, the re-release of YJHD has left the audience nostalgic.

Produced by Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has taken the box office by storm after the re-release. The film, released in PVR Inox and Cinepolis, garnered a huge response on the first day and raked in Rs 1.20 cr (nett) on Friday (Jan 3).

According to the latest Sacnilk report, the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer witnessed a massive jump by almost 100% on Saturday and scored around Rs 2.40 cr on day 2. As of now, the total nett collection of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (after re-release) stands at Rs 3.60 cr in 2 days.

Reportedly, the Dharma rom-com had over 750 shows on the day of its re-release and following the huge response, shows doubled on the second day with total 1600 shows approximately.

Day 1 (Friday): Rs 1.20 cr

Day 2 (Saturday): Rs 2.40 cr

Total - Rs 3.60 CRORES!

Originally released on 31st May 2013, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani had grossed around Rs 188 cr (nett) back then. As per reports, the film had collected around Rs 302 cr worldwide. The film was made on a budget of Rs 40 cr reportedly.
