Alpha Box Office Collection Day 5 Early Updates: Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's Alpha continues to face a challenging run at the box office as the film enters its first weekday stretch. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the action thriller is the first female-led installment in the YRF Spy Universe. Released on July 3, the film opened to strong buzz but received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics and a section of moviegoers, which has impacted its theatrical performance.
With collections slowing after the weekend, Alpha is now fighting to cross the ₹50 cr-mark at the Indian box office.
Alpha Box Office Collection Day 4 (First Monday)
Led by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, Alpha boasts a supporting cast that includes Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, while Hrithik Roshan makes a special appearance. After opening with ₹9.25 cr net at the Indian box office, the spy thriller witnessed a modest upward trend over the weekend before slowing down on weekdays.
The momentum, however, came to a halt on Monday, when the film witnessed a steep 70.9% drop in collections. According to Sacnilk, Alpha collected an estimated ₹3.85 cr net on Day 4, taking its India net total to ₹37.85 cr and its India gross collection to ₹45.34 cr.
Alpha Day 5 Collection Early Trend Today (Tuesday)
Amid its underwhelming box office run, Alpha has witnessed a noticeable surge in footfalls on Tuesday (today), with evening show occupancy jumping by around 11-12% compared to the morning shows.
As per Sacnilk's real-time estimates, Alpha had earned approximately ₹2.73 cr net by 8:45 PM on Day 5. This takes the film's India net collection to around ₹40.58 cr, while the India gross stands at approximately ₹48.56 cr. The final Day 5 figures are expected after the last shows conclude.
