Alpha Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 1: Alia Bhatt is all over the news these days and rightfully so. After all, she is here with one of the most anticipated releases of the year and it has got everyone brimming with an opinion. We are talking about Alpha which is directed by Shiv Rawail and is bankrolled by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films. Also starring Sharvari and Anil Kapoor in the lead along with Bobby Deol as a lead antagonist and Hrithik Roshan in a cameo, Alpha happens to be the 7th installment of YRF's spy universe after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3 and War 2.

To note, Alpha presents Alia in a never seen before avatar which has added to the fans' excitement. Besides, the action thriller also marks Alia's first collaboration with Sharvari, Bobby and Anil. While Alpha has managed to create a lot of buzz in the town, it opened to a mixed response and saw a slow start at the domestic box office. Alpha Overseas Box Office Collection Day 1

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Alpha made an opening day collection of Rs 5cr in the overseas market on day 1 (first Friday). Interestingly, it is more than twice the collection of Alia's last release Jigra which was around Rs 2cr.

On the other hand, Alpha made a collection of Rs 15.8cr at the worldwide box office on the opening day.

Meanwhile, as there have been reports about a rift between Alia and Bobby Deol on Alpha sets, the latter had dismissed the reports and told India TV, "Mujhe bhi ek dost ne bheja uss rumour ka snapshot. Main bhi hairaan ho gaya. Log itne velle hai ki kuch bhi likh ke bana dete hai. Alia is a very good actress and she is very professional. She works very hard. Alia was also prepared for all the fight sequences that she had to do. Toh mujhe nahi samaj mein aaya kisne kya soch ke ye sab rumours likhe. I can't go around proving the point to anybody.
