Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 6: Akshay Kumar, who has managed to carve a niche for himself with his comic timings, is now making headlines for his recent release which happens to be the horror comedy. We are talking about Bhooth Bangla which marks his reunion with Priyadarshan after 14 years. Together the actor-director duo had given movies like Hera Pheri, Khatta Meetha, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa to name a few. Touted to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year, Bhooth Bangla had hit the screens on April 17 and opened to mixed reviews.

The movie, which marks Priyadarshan's second attempt at horror comedy and Akshay's return to the genre after 5 years, comes with an interesting ensemble of cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar, Jisshu Sengupta, Paresh Rawal, Asrani and Rajpal Yadav. Interestingly, Bhooth Bangla also marks Akshay's first collaboration with Wamiqa and their fresh chemistry has been the talk of the town for a while. On the other hand, Bhooth Bangla also happens to be late actor Asrani's last appearance on the big screen. Interestingly, the movie witnessed a good start at the box office. However, Bhooth Bangla has been struggling at the box office during the week.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla saw a dip in numbers and made a collection of Rs 6.15cr on day 6 taking the overall collection to Rs 78.90 Cr in India. To note, the movie, which has been facing competition with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, minted a little more half of the latter's collection. For the uninitiated, Kartik Aaryan starrer had minted Rs 10.75cr on day 6 of release.

Bhooth Bangla Becomes Third Highest Grosser Of 2026 in India

Interestingly, with a total collection of Rs 78.90 Cr, Bhooth Bangla has emerged as the third highest grosser of 2026 in India after Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2.

Meanwhile, as Wamiqa Gabbi has been facing frequent comparisons with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Akshay defended his Bhooth Bangla co-star during a chat with Shubhankar Mishra and stated, "Her (Wamiqa's) eyes are like Aishwarya Rai's, but she has her own identity. She is doing things her own way. She entered the film industry after a lot of struggle. She worked in Punjabi films, and now she is working across Hindi, Telugu and Tamil cinema, exploring every genre".
