Bhooth Bangla Box Office Day 1 (Morning Trend): Bhooth Bangla has already become one of the year's most talked about Hindi films, with strong curiosity around how the horror comedy will perform at the box office. The film's trailer and genre mix have drawn attention from both Akshay Kumar's core fan base and wider family audiences. The project has special importance as Bhooth Bangla is Akshay Kumar's first theatrical release of the year. The film also signals Akshay Kumar's return to the horror comedy space after a gap of 5 years, a genre that has given several successful titles in the past.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla recorded an occupancy of 10.77% during the morning shows on day 1 (first Friday) amid competition from Ranveer's Dhurandhar 2 which saw a footfall of 7% today despite being in the 5th week.

To note, Bhooth Bangla witnessed a slow start in the morning and was struggling to earn Rs 3 cr in the morning shows. In fact, the movie earned Rs 1.7cr from morning shows.

Meanwhile, in a conversation with Bollywood Life, director Priyadarshan spoke about the comparisons between Bhooth Bangla and Bhool Bhulaiyaa and stated, "This is completely different because the only nostalgia you get is because of these actors. Otherwise, that was a psychological thriller (Bhool Bhulaiyaa) and Bhoot Bangla is complete fantasy, like, will it happen or not? It could happen, or it could not happen. Bhoot Bangla is inspired by what we have in our folklore, mythology and superstitions"
