As Bhooth Bangla has been witnessing comparisons with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, it managed to beat the latter which minted Rs 4.25cr on its second Tuesday of release.

Meanwhile, as Bhooth Bangla marks late actor Asrani's last appearance on the big screen, Akshay Kumar paid a tribute to the legendary actor and wrote, "Kabhi kabhi ek tasveer sirf yaadon ka tukda nahi hoti... ek poori journey ko samet leti hai. Yeh picture humari Bhooth Bangla ki shoot se hai...Asrani ji ke saath meri second last film.
