Bhooth Bangla Box Office Day 2 (Morning Trend): Akshay Kumar's film Bhooth Bangla, a horror comedy released on April 18, 2026, has been in discussion since its announcement. The project, directed by Priyadarshan, arrived in cinemas to mixed reactions from both critics and viewers. Despite the divided response, the film has drawn strong attention across the industry and audience circles. Bhooth Bangla casts Akshay Kumar in the lead alongside Asrani, Paresh Rawal, Mithila Palkar, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla saw a hike of 28.6% in the occupancy during the morning shows on the second day. To note, Bhooth Bangla recorded a footfall of 13.85% during the morning shows on day 2.

As per Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla failed to earn Rs 5cr despite being the first Saturday. In fact, the movie minted Rs 2.3cr from morning shows on day 2.

Meanwhile, as Bhooth Bangla marks late actor Asrani's last appearance on the big screen, Akshay Kumar paid a tribute to the legendary actor and wrote, "Kabhi kabhi ek tasveer sirf yaadon ka tukda nahi hoti... ek poori journey ko samet leti hai. Yeh picture humari Bhooth Bangla ki shoot se hai...Asrani ji ke saath meri second last film.
