Bhooth Bangla Box Office Day 3 (Morning Trend): Akshay Kumar's fans can't keep calm as the superstar is here with the much talked about horror comedy. We are talking about Bhooth Bangla which is helmed by ace filmmaker Priyadarshan. To note, the movie has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs as it brings Akshay and Priyadarshan's reunion after 14 years and fans can't keep calm about this actor-director reunion given their trajectory of delivering comic hits. On the other hand, Bhooth Bangla also features Wamiqa Gabbi, Asrani, Mithila Palkar, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav and Tabu in the lead roles.

To note, Bhooth Bangla marks veteran actor Asrani's last appearance on the big screen and also marks Akshay's first collaboration with Wamiqa. This isn't all. Bhooth Bangla also marks Akshay's return to the horror comedy genre after 5 years while Priyadarshan has tried his hands on the Bollywood horror comedy after 19 years of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla, which recorded an occupancy of 13.85% during morning shows on day 2, saw a hike of 50% in the footfalls. As a result, it registered the footfalls of 20.85% on day 3 (first Sunday) during the morning shows.

To note, despite a good hike in footfalls, Bhooth Bangla seems to be having a steady hold at the box office and made a collection of Rs 4cr today (day 3/ first Sunday) during the morning shows taking the overall earnings to Rs 39cr.

Meanwhile, as Bhooth Bangla marks late actor Asrani's last appearance on the big screen, Akshay Kumar paid a tribute to the legendary actor and wrote, "Kabhi kabhi ek tasveer sirf yaadon ka tukda nahi hoti... ek poori journey ko samet leti hai.
