Bhooth Bangla Day 8 Box Office Collection LIVE Updates: Akshay's Film Fails To CROSS Rs 100 Crore

On Friday, Bhooth Bangla collected a net of ₹5.75 Cr across 8,573 shows. This brought the total India gross collections to ₹107.20 Cr and total India net collections to ₹90.15 Cr so far, according to a report in Sacnilk.

Even with the reduced evening occupancy from first Thursday to second Friday, Bhooth Bangla is still holding reasonably at the box office. The final day 8 figure, once late-night shows are counted, will show whether it reaches the Rs 5cr target. Trade trackers are watching if day 8 can close near Rs 5cr and push the film towards the Rs 90cr mark before the second weekend. Bhooth Bangla recorded 16.85% evening occupancy on day 7, the first Thursday, but footfalls dipped on day 8. The second Friday evening shows registered a lower occupancy level of 13.46%, indicating a mild drop in audience turnout.

With the latest figure added, Bhooth Bangla’s total box office collection has reached about Rs 85.2cr. The performance comes amid strong competition from Dhurandhar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s other horror comedy releases. Current trends suggest the film needs stronger evening and weekend support to stabilise.

Bhooth Bangla has failed to match the numbers of the Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 minted Rs 2.5cr in overseas markets on day 7 alone. This pushed its week 1 overseas total to Rs 51cr, while the film’s worldwide collection has already reached Rs 240.7cr, widening the gap with Bhooth Bangla.

The film closed its first week with strong worldwide earnings. As per Sacnilk, the movie’s total global box office collection reached Rs 135.86cr by day 7. This figure combines both domestic and overseas revenues for the horror-comedy release. Overseas markets showed a minor slowdown on day 7 for Bhooth Bangla. The film added about Rs 2cr from international territories on that day. With this, the week-one overseas box office collection stood at Rs 35.5cr, reflecting steady interest outside India. Despite the slight dip in overseas earnings on day 7, Bhooth Bangla maintained a solid overall performance. The combined worldwide figure of Rs 135.86cr after one week indicates sustained audience turnout, with both domestic viewers and international markets contributing to the film’s commercial run.
