Bhooth Bangla Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 13: Bhooth Bangla, led by Akshay Kumar, has turned into one of the year's most watched releases. The horror comedy reunited Akshay and director Priyadarshan after a 14-year gap. Despite mixed reviews, the film still drew solid initial crowds and crossed the Rs 100cr mark in India and worldwide. The ensemble cast helped sustain interest, with key roles played by Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar, Jisshu Sengupta, Asrani and Paresh Rawal. A rise in numbers during the second weekend suggested some recovery in interest. That momentum did not last long, as the second Monday registered a sharp fall in overseas box office figures.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla recorded the lowest single day collection in overseas market and minted Rs 75 lakhs on day 13 (second Wednesday). This took the overall collection to Rs 51.50cr

On the other hand, the total worldwide collection of Bhooth Bangla emerged as Rs 199.56cr after 13 days of release

Meanwhile, Jisshu Sengupta opened up about working with Priyadarshan in Bhooth Bangla and told IANS, "The first couple of days, I was really wouldn't say I was tense, but I was, you know, working with "THE" Priyadarshan. On the set, he is a very chilled-out director. He has fun and takes advice from everyone".
