Bhooth Bangla Worldwide Box Office Day 2: Akshay's Film To Pick Pace; To Touch 50cr | Filmibeat Predicts
Bhooth Bangla Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Bhooth Bangla, the new horror comedy starring Akshay Kumar, opened worldwide on April 17. The film released across India and select international markets. Despite heavy chatter, early overseas box office figures stayed below expectations, with collections not matching the pre-release buzz. Much of the buzz comes from Akshay Kumar sharing screen space with Wamiqa Gabbi for the first time. The new on-screen pair has drawn curiosity among fans, as Bhooth Bangla returns Akshay Kumar to horror comedy after five years.

Alongside Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi, the ensemble cast includes Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar and Jisshu Sengupta. The film mixes horror elements with comedy, aiming for broad family appeal, and continues Bollywood's recent interest in light-hearted supernatural stories. Bhooth Bangla is directed by Priyadarshan, marking the filmmaker's return to Bollywood after five years. Priyadarshan last directed a Hindi film in 2021 with Hungama 2. The project is Priyadarshan's second Bollywood horror comedy and reunites Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar after fourteen years. Akshay Kumar's return to spooky comedy, the large supporting cast and Priyadarshan's Hindi comeback keep interest alive as collections unfold across different territories.
