Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 6: Bhooth Bangla reached Indian cinemas on 17 April, joining a busy release calendar with high interest. The horror comedy reunites Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after 14 years. For Akshay Kumar, this is a return to horror comedy after a five-year gap from the genre. The film is Priyadarshan's second horror comedy project in Bollywood and follows Hungama 2, released in 2021. Bhooth Bangla aims for light scares and easy laughs, targeting viewers who prefer relaxed entertainment rather than intense horror elements in theatres.

The main cast of Bhooth Bangla features Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar and Jisshu Sengupta. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla made a collection of Rs 2cr in the overseas on day 6 which took the overall collection to Rs 33.50cr after 6 days. On the other hand, the total worldwide collection of the horror comedy now stands at Rs 127.37cr.

Bhooth Bangla Creates New Record At Worldwide Box Office

As per Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla has managed to emerge as the third highest worldwide grosser of 2026 after beating Shahid Kapoor's Romeo which had earned Rs 110.80cr as its lifetime worldwide collection. The horror comedy is preceded by Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 respectively.

Meanwhile, in a conversation with Bollywood Life, director Priyadarshan spoke about the comparisons between Bhooth Bangla and Bhool Bhulaiyaa and stated, "This is completely different because the only nostalgia you get is because of these actors. Otherwise, that was a psychological thriller (Bhool Bhulaiyaa) and Bhoot Bangla is complete fantasy, like, will it happen or not? It could happen, or it could not happen. Bhoot Bangla is inspired by what we have in our folklore, mythology and superstitions".
