Border 2 Advance Booking Begins: Sunny-Diljit's Film Shows Strong Start 4 Days Before Release

Border 2 Advance Booking: Remember the 1997 release Border which was helmed by JP Dutta and was a massive hit? The movie was a multi-starrer war drama and it was a massive hit back then which turned into a cult classic. And now, almost after thirty years, JP Dutta and his daughter Nidhi Dutta are coming back with the second installment of the war drama and we can't keep calm. Titled as Border 2, the movie is helmed by Anurag Singh and features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Mona Singh etc in the lead.

Set against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan war of 1971, Border 2 is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Interestingly, the movie will mark Diljit's first collaboration with Sunny, Varun and Ahan and lead star have come together as Indian Army, Air Force and Navy officers. To note, Border 2 has managed to create a massive buzz in the town with its nostalgic songs, intriguing trailer and impressive star cast. According to a tweet shared by Always Bollywood, Border 2 witnessed a strong start in terms of advance booking and managed to sell around 13,450 tickets until 10 am today.

On the other hand, Border 2 has sold 1.96K tickets in last one hour on BookMyShow with an interest of over 232K.

Meanwhile, talking about Border 2, Sunny Deol stated in an event, "Whenever you wear the uniform there's an excitement that you feel and you feel you are also a soldier. We don't train like soldiers but we carry the same emotions inside us. It's just that we get the opportunity to essay the character of a soldier and 99 percent times it is the uniform that give us the strength to play the part, besides we've to add certain things from our end".
