Border 2 Advance Booking Collection (1 Day Before Release): Border 2 is positioned as a large Hindi war drama, aiming to rekindle patriotic emotion linked with J. P. Dutta's 1997 film Border. Set again during the 1971 India-Pakistan conflict, it brings back that earlier story's mix of courage, sacrifice and duty for a new generation of viewers. The film is backed by producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J. P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, which ties it closely to the original Border's legacy. Border 2 focuses on the 1971 war but blends large-scale conflict with intimate emotional arcs designed for cinema audiences across India.

Sunny Deol leads the ensemble and once more portrays a valiant Army officer, echoing the spirit that helped Border connect with viewers. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 has witnessed a good response in terms of advance booking. The movie has minted Rs 7.49cr gross with a sale of over 2.38 lakh tickets. The number happens to be Rs 12.24cr with blocked seats.

Interestingly, Border 2, which is close to beat the advance booking collection of Dhurandhar (Rs 9.23cr), is also eyeing to surpass the pre-sales collection of Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter which happens to be Rs 8.4cr

Meanwhile, talking about Border 2, Sunny Deol stated in an event, "Whenever you wear the uniform there's an excitement that you feel and you feel you are also a soldier. We don't train like soldiers but we carry the same emotions inside us. It's just that we get the opportunity to essay the character of a soldier and 99 percent times it is the uniform that give us the strength to play the part, besides we've to add certain things from our end".
