Hindi 2D formats lead bookings by a wide margin, generating a gross of Rs 10,09,00,418.01 from advance sales. This format has sold 3,31,523 tickets from 15,934 shows, indicating wide screen availability. The average ticket price for Hindi 2D stands at Rs 261, based on current figures.

Premium formats contribute modestly to the overall Border 2 advance booking gross at this stage. Hindi 4DX formats record a gross of Rs 2,90,047 from 477 tickets sold across 51 shows, with an average ticket price of Rs 581, as per Sacnilk.

Across all Hindi formats combined, the Border 2 advance booking gross across India totals Rs 1,01,19,0465, which is reported as Rs 10.12 crore. Total tickets sold reach 3,32,000, from 15,985 reported shows nationwide. The consolidated data suggests most early viewers are choosing standard 2D over higher-priced premium formats.

All eyes are on the first-day box office collection of Border 2 as the film is riding high on the nationalistic wave. At a time when films with nationalist favour (Chhaava and Dhurandhar) have yielded great results, the trade experts are confident that Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan-starrer will also perform well in the cinema halls.

While Dhurandhar earned Rs 28 crore on the opening day, Border 2 is expected to cross the Rs 30-crore mark on the first day of release, according to a prediction shared by Rohit Jaiswal.

The trade expert confidently claimed that Border 2 would rake in Rs 47 crore on the opening day, setting the cash registers jingling. If the prediction turns out to be true, Border 2 would defeat Dhurandhar's first day collection with a huge margin.
