Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Sunny Deol is all over the headlines and rightfully so. The actor, who had set the box office on fire with Gadar 2 in 2023, left everyone speechless in with his entertaining performance in Jaat in 2025, is now creating waves with the much talked about Border 2. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is the sequel to the 1997 release Border which was a massive hit among the fans. Co-produced by JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, Border 2 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

While Sunny Deol is seen playing the role of Indian Army officer, Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler, Border 2 also features Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Mona Singh, Medha Rana etc. Based on the India-Pakistan war of 1971, Border 2 has managed to create a lot of buzz in the town with its intriguing trailer, power packed dialogues, impressive cast, and nostalgic songs. And while Border 2 opened to good reviews, it witnessed a decent start at the box office

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 earned Rs 30cr on opening day (day 1/ first Friday)
Border 2 Beats Dhurandhar On Day 1
With a collection of Rs 30cr, Border 2 has managed to beat the opening day collection of Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar which happens to be Rs 28cr. Interestingly, Border 2 has managed to beat Border (Rs 1.12cr) opening day collection with a massive gap

To note, Border 2 has managed to record the second highest Republic Day opener after Pathaan. This isn't all. Border 2 has also managed to become the highest opener for Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty and second highest opener for Sunny after Gadar 2.
Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction
Interestingly, as Border 2 is witnessing its first weekend, Border 2 is expected to see a hike in numbers today (day 2/ first Saturday). The movie is likely to earn Rs 35-40cr at the box office and will be crossing Rs 65cr mark
Meanwhile, talking about Border 2, Varun Dhawan wrote, "A battle #border2. A film that really pushed me to my limits. An experience which so many people helped me get through. It changed me for good.
