Border 2 Day 3 Box Office Collection: How Much Sunny Deol's Film Earned On Sunday?

Border 2 recorded a strong opening weekend at the Indian box office, with collections rising each day. The film earned an estimated ₹121 crore India net in three days, supported by solid growth from Friday to Sunday, a report in Sacnilk said.

On the first day, the movie minted about ₹30 crore (net) in India. Day 2 showed a clear improvement, as Saturday earnings increased to nearly ₹36.5 crore. This shift represents a rise of 21.67% compared with Friday, indicating better footfall and higher repeat viewership on the second day.

The film witnessed the biggest jump on Sunday, ahead of the Republic Day 2026 holiday. Sunday collections reach the ₹54.5 crore (net) mark in India, which is a 49.32% increase from Saturday. With this, Border 2 closed its opening weekend at around ₹121 crore India net, combining all three days of theatrical business across India.

Border 2 Vs Dhurandhar First Weekend Box Office Comparison

The opening weekend box-office comparison of Border 2 and Dhurandhar shows a clear leader. Across the first three days, Border 2 minted ₹121 cr and Dhurandhar earned ₹106.5cr, highlighting different audience pull for each film.

While Border 2 maintains a solid position. Dhurandhar also grabbed several eyeballs.

On the second day, Border 2 edged ahead of Dhurandhar with over 36 crore against ₹33.10cr. On the third day, Dhurandhar earned ₹44.80cr and Border 2 climbed to over 54 crore.

Over the first three days, both films post sharp growth, but Border2 finishes the opening weekend with a clear lead in total earnings.

Across the first weekend, Dhurandhar totals ₹106.50 crore, while Border2 stands at ₹121 crore. The stronger day-on-day growth gives Border2 a higher three-day haul. Dhurandhar, however, also recorded steady gains, all thanks to the positive word-of-mouth publicity.

The first weekend trend placed Border2 ahead of Dhurandhar in box-office performance, based on all three reported days. With Border2 leading on each day and in overall weekend earnings, it remains to be seen if it will be able to overtake Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar as the highest grossing Hindi film in India or not.
