Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 2 (Early Trend): Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, has finally reached cinemas and is drawing strong attention. Early reviews are positive, and initial box office numbers show a steady opening. Viewers highlight the war drama's emotional scenes and action, which continue to fuel conversation across social media and fan forums. Border 2 revisits the India-Pakistan war of 1971 and aims to connect with both new and older audiences. Its trailer, packed with intense battlefield moments and stirring dialogues, helped build interest. Nostalgic songs and familiar patriotic themes further boosted pre-release buzz among fans nationwide.

Sunny Deol appears as Indian Army officer Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler, leading the story from the frontlines. The ensemble cast includes Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Mona Singh and Medha Rana. Their characters bring different perspectives from the conflict, giving the war narrative a broader emotional range. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 serves as the sequel to the 1997 film Border, which was a massive hit among the fans. JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta co-produce the project, which has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year, especially after Sunny Deol's success with Gadar 2 in 2023 and Jaat in 2025.
Border 2 Evening Occupancy Day 2
According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 , which recorded a morning occupancy of 15.51% on day 2, saw a hike in footfalls during the evening shows. The movie registered a footfall of 49.13% during the evening shows on day 2 (first Saturday). Interestingly, Border 2 has managed to beat Dhurandhar evening occupancy on day 2 which happens to be 42.65%

Interestingly, Border 2 has maintained a good hold at the box office and minted Rs 24cr until 7:30pm today (day 2/ first Saturday). This took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 54cr. This isn't all. Border 2 has managed to beat the lifetime collection of Border which happened to be Rs 39.46cr.
Meanwhile, talking about Border 2, Varun Dhawan wrote, "A battle #border2. A film that really pushed me to my limits. An experience which so many people helped me get through. It changed me for good. Injuries, personal life changes and submitting to@the craft can't wait for everyone to watch this film. Putting one of my favourite background pieces from the film".
