Border 2 Box Office Day 5 (Morning Trend): Sunny Deol starrer Border 2 has been one of the biggest releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. Touted to be war drama, Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh and happens to be the sequel to the 1997 cult classic Border. Co-produced by JP Dutta, Border 2 marks Sunny Deol's return to the franchise after almost three decades. To note, Border 2 is based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war and focuses on the bravery of Indian Army, Air Force and Navy.

Apart from Sunny Deol, Border 2 also features Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh, Medha Rana, Sonam Bajwa and Mona Singh. While Diljit and Sunny's performance has been hailed by the audience, Varun Dhawan's stint as Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya has left everyone spellbound. Interestingly, Border 2 has been a perfect nostalgia trip as the makers have revived the iconic numbers like Sandese Aate Hain and Ae Jaate Huye Lamhon. Given the massive buzz, Border 2 has opened to decent reviews and has taken the box office like a storm creating new records every day. However, the movie finally saw a dip in numbers on first Tuesday
Border 2 Morning Occupancy Day 5
According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 saw a massive dip in footfalls during the morning shows. After recording a morning occupancy of 40.39% on day 4, Border 2 saw a footfall of 11.21% today (day 5/ first Tuesday)
Border 2 Fails To Beat Dhurandhar Occupancy On Day 5
Interestingly, with an occupancy of 11.21%, Border 2 has failed to beat Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar which recorded a footfall of 19.23% on its 5th day of release.
Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 5 (Morning Trend)
It is reported that Border 2 was seen struggling on the first day and failed to earn even Rs 5cr from the morning shows. As per Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned Rs 2cr in the morning until 12:30 pm. On the other hand, as per a tweet shared by film business expert Joginder Tuteja, Border 2 will be crossing Rs 200cr mark today (day 5/ first Tuesday).
Meanwhile, Border 2 has also entered the coveted Rs 200cr club at the worldwide box office in 4 days and it will be interesting to see if it will achieve another milestone in the first week.
