Border 2 Box Office Day 7 (Morning Trend): Sunny’s Film Sees Slight Hike Ahead Of Mardaani 3 Release

Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 7 (Morning Trend): Sunny Deol returns to the Border franchise with Border 2, almost three decades after Border. The new war drama revisits the 1971 India vs Pakistan conflict and released with strong buzz. Early reviews are positive, and the film saw huge holiday crowds, though numbers are softening. Border 2 also assembles Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, Varun Dhawan, Medha Rana, Ahan Shetty and Mona Singh. Their characters represent the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy during the 1971 war. The narrative underlines bravery across services and acts as a cinematic salute to martyred soldiers.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 casts Sunny Deol as Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler. The first posters and clips highlight intense battlefield scenes and powerful speeches. Viewers have praised the performance, saying it stirs pride and patriotism similar to Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri in the 1997 film. Trade reports note that Border 2 opened to decent feedback and strong occupancy across centres. Collections peaked over the extended holiday, with a thunderous response on the 77th Republic Day celebration. After that weekend high, daily earnings appear to be easing, suggesting a typical post-holiday slowdown.
