Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 8 (Morning Trend): Border 2 is drawing strong attention at cinemas, with early reviews calling the war drama engaging and emotional. The film has seen a solid box office response so far, helped by major curiosity around its fresh ensemble cast and connection to the much-loved 1997 film Border. At the centre of this new chapter is Diljit Dosanjh, who has already built a following in Punjabi cinema and Bollywood. After years of success in music and acting, Diljit now headlines Border 2 and has become one of the most discussed names in Hindi film circles this month.

Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh and focuses on the 1971 India vs Pakistan war. Diljit Dosanjh plays Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, an Indian Air Force officer, and audiences have praised the sincere portrayal of bravery and duty. Border 2 acts as a sequel to the 1997 film Border and also features Sunny Deol, Sonam Bajwa, Mona Singh, Varun Dhawan, Medha Rana, Ahan Shetty and Anya Singh. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 saw steady hold in evening occupancy and recorded a footfall of 16.71% on day 8 (second Friday). In fact, it failed to beat Dhurandhar and Gadar 2's footfall of 53.08% and 37.66% respectively on day 8 suring evening shows. Interestingly, Border 2 remains unfazed of the new release Mardaani 3 which saw an occupancy of 17.13%

Interestingly, Border 2 has failed to touch Rs 10cr on day 8 (second Friday) so far. As per Sacnilk, Border 2 has earned Rs 7.7cr until 7:30pm which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 231.95cr.
