Border 2 North America Box Office Collection Day 1: Sunny Deol's latest film Border 2 is drawing strong attention, both for nostalgia and box office. After Gadar 2 in 2023 and Jaat in 2025, Sunny Deol returns in another war drama. Early trade reports note a decent opening, supported by good reviews and strong audience interest across key Indian cities. Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh and follows the legacy of the 1997 film Border. The original was a huge favourite with fans and became a major success.

Border, co-produced by JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, has been counted among 2026's most awaited Hindi releases, especially for viewers who grew up with the first film. While Border 2 has been facing comparisons with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar, this Sunny Deol starrer is trailing behind the spy action thriller. To note, Dhurandhar had made a collection of $450K on its day of release until 7 pm.

Given the fact that it is a weekend, Border 2 is expected to witness a hike in numbers and will be crossing a total collection of $600K in two days.
