At a time when many films have struggled to strike a chord with the audience, the war drama has set the cash registers jingling. The numbers picked up during the third weekend, bringing cheers for the makers. As it continued to perform well, Border 2 beat three popular films at the worldwide box office.

Varun Dhawan has another reason to rejoice as he has beaten the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and Ayushmann Khurrana. His new release Border 2 has pushed three popular films, starring the three Bollywood actors, down in the list of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time.

Border 2 Day 17 Worldwide Box Office Collection: How Much Film Earned Till Date?

Border 2 held its fort at the box office, with steady earnings reported after 17 days in cinemas. The film has crossed the ₹300 crore mark in India alone, turning out to be a hit.

The 17-day India (net) collection stands at ₹309.75 crore, while the India gross collection has reached ₹369.75 crore, according to Sacnilk. Overseas markets have added ₹54.25 crore in this period, taking the worldwide total collection for Border 2 to ₹424.00 crore.

These figures highlight solid contributions from both domestic and international circuits for Border 2. The worldwide collection has crossed the ₹420 crore mark comfortably within 17 days.

With ₹309.75 crore net in India and a worldwide figure of ₹424.00 crore, Border 2 continues its theatrical run from a position of strength.

According to Sacnilk's early estimates, Border 2 is inching closer towards the Rs 430-crore mark. It is expected to cross Rs 428-crore mark by the end of Monday.

Varun Dhawan, who made his Bollywood debut in 2012, beat his contemporaries in the race of highest-grossers in Bollywood. Border 2 has performed better than Brahmastra, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Andhadhan.

Brahmastra, which stands as Ranbir Kapoor's third-highest grosser after Animal and Sanju, has been pushed down the list. Border 2, with a worldwide box office collection of Rs 424 crore, has performed better than Brahmastra, which also starred Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan.
