Border 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3: Sunny Deol is here with his first release of the year and his massive fan following can't keep calm about it. After winning hearts with his impressive performance in Jaat last year, Sunny Deol is now creating waves for Border 2 which is a war drama by Anurag Singh. For the uninitiated, Border 2 is the sequel to the 1997 release Border and marks Sunny Deol's return to the franchise after almost 30 years. While Sunny Deol is seen playing the role of an Indian Army Officer, the movie has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Apart from Sunny, Border 2 also features Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Mona Singh and Medha Rana in the lead. To note, Border 2 is based on the 1971 India vs Pakistan war. Interestingly, Border 2 has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs not just in India but across the world. In fact, Border 2 saw a good start in the overseas market after recording Sunny Deol's second highest opening in the overseas. Interestingly, Border 2 has been thriving at the worldwide box office especially in the opening weekend.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 made a collection of Rs 11cr in the overseas market on day 3 (first Sunday) taking the overall collection to Rs 27cr. On the other hand, the worldwide collection has turned out to be Rs 172.20cr after three days of release

Border 2 Beats Jaat's Lifetime Worldwide Collection

With a total worldwide collection of Rs 172.20cr, Border 2 has managed to beat the lifetime worldwide collection of Jaat which happened to be Rs 118.36cr. As a result Border 2 has emerged as Sunny Deol's second highest grossing film at the worldwide box office. This isn't all. As Border 2 has been facing continuous comparisons with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar, the war drama has managed to beat the latter's weekend overseas and worldwide collection which happened to be Rs 34.50cr and Rs 158cr respectively.

Border 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction

Given the fact that Border 2 is maintaining a strong hold at the box office on the first Monday, it is expected to cross Rs 30cr mark in overseas today (day 4/ first Monday). On the other hand, Border 2 will be entering the coveted Rs 200cr mark at the worldwide box office today

Meanwhile, Border 2, which recorded its highest morning occupancy on day 4 in India, is expected to mint over Rs 52cr today at the domestic box office. Interestingly, the war drama will also be inching close to Rs 200cr mark in India today.
