Directed by Anurag Singh, the film expanded the franchise's scope with larger battle sequences and a multi-service military narrative, blending army, air force and navy action against the backdrop of India's historic Indo-Pak conflict. And now, Border 2 is also expected to achieve another milestone at the worldwide box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Border 2 made a collection of Rs 75 lakhs in the overseas market on day 8 (second Friday). On the other hand, the worldwide box office collection of the movie happens to be Rs 323cr after 8 days of release.

As Border 2 is in the second weekend, Border 2 is expected to see a hike in the overseas. The movie is expected to mint Rs 1-2cr in the overseas and will be crossing Rs 43cr. On the other hand, Border 2 is expected to touch Rs 350cr at the worldwide box office today (day 9/ second Saturday). If the prediction turns out to be true, Border 2 will be crossing the lifetime overseas and worldwide collection of Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike. For the uninitiated, Uri: The Surgical Strike had earned Rs 48cr in the overseas and Rs 341.75cr in the worldwide.

Meanwhile, given the response to Border 2, there have been speculations about Border 3. Talking about it, co-producer Bhushan Kumar told Hindustan Times, "We are doing a joint venture with his (Anurag Singh) company and my company. He'll be directing, and it will be something new. Border 3 will happen in due course".
