Interestingly, Chand Mera Dil has been witnessing comparisons with Ahaan Panday and Aneet Paddi starrer Saiyaara and there have been speculations when Ananya starrer will beat the latter at the box office. However, if the prediction turns out to be true Chand Mera Dil will fail to beat Saiyaars which minted Rs 21.5cr on its opening day.

Meanwhile, talking about working with Ananya, Lakshya told, "She is very giving. She is a wonderful human being. It's very easy to work with her and it's very easy to communicate with her. Before every scene, we talk and discuss. It doesn't feel as if I am working with someone who has fame. She doesn't take herself very seriously, which is absolutely amazing about her".
