Chardikala Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Ammy Virk is one of the most talked about Punjabi actors in the industry who has won millions of hearts not just with his singing skills but also with his acting chops. From acing the comedy and romantic genre to winning hearts with his stint in family dramas, Ammy Virk has always been a treat to watch on the big screen. And now, Ammy Virk is making headlines for his second release of the year after Bambukat 2. We are talking about Chardikala.

Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, Chardikala is said to be based on the life of Bimal Kaur Khalsa, wife of Beant Singh who was one of the assassins of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The movie revolves around Bimal Kaur Khalsa's journey, resilience and how the community supported her post Beant Singh's extremem actions. Apart from Ammy Virk, Chardikala also features Roopi Gill and Himmat Sandhu in the lead and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. In fact, Chardikala created waves after Roopi Gill and Himmat Sandhu presented the movie at the recently held Cannes Film Festival. While Chardikala has witnessed a delay in release in India as of now, there have been speculations about how the movie will fare at the Indian box office.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat's Ranpreet Kaur, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that Chardikala is expected to have a slow start at the box office and will mint less than Rs 20 lakhs on the opening day in India.
Will Chardikala Beat Bambukat 2 On Opening Day?
Interestingly, Chardikala has been facing comparisons with Ammy Virk's previous release Bambukat 2. However, if the prediction turned out to be true, Chardikala will fail to beat Bambukat 2 which had minted Rs 50 lakhs on its day of release.
Meanwhile, Ammy Virk has confirmed that Chardikala's release in India has been delayed owing to issues with the Censor board and is expected to release in the coming days. He also emphasised that the movie witnessed a grand opening across the world and received a warm response in Australia especially.
