Cocktail 2 Advance Booking Collection Day 1 (2 Days Before Release): Homi Adajania directorial Cocktail 2 has been one of the most talked about releases of 2026 for several reason. After all, the romantic comedy drama is the sequel to the popular film Cocktail which had featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. Interestingly, Cocktail 2 brings a stellar cast of Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. In fact, the peppy numbers have already managed to rule the chartbusters.

Co-written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, Cocktail 2 centres on Diya, Kunal and Ally, three friends caught in a fragile emotional storm. Rashmika Mandanna plays Diya, whose decade-long bond with Kunal (played by Shahid Kapoor) begins to crack when their old friend Ally (played by Kriti Sanon) returns. Her comeback unsettles loyalties, revives buried feelings and pushes the trio towards painful heartbreak ahead. As the trailer has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, the advance booking is also receiving an interesting response from the audience

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 has earned Rs 1.67cr lakhs so far (2 days ahead of release) with a sale of 47,367 tickets in India

Given the response to Cocktail 2, it seems the advance booking of this Shahid Kapoor starrer will beat the presales of O'Romeo which happened to be Rs 3.07cr.

Meanwhile, talking about his character in Cocktail 2, Shahid Kapoor told Hollywood Reporter India, "What excited me more was the character. After a very long time, I'm playing someone who isn't alpha, edgy or morally grey. He's warm, relatable and genuinely likeable. Initially, I thought I'd get bored because I've done this space before, but I was also getting tired of constantly playing complicated characters".
