Cocktail 2 Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: Shahid Kapoor is all over the headlines lately with his second release of the year. After showcasing his acting chops in O'Romeo, Shahid is creating waves with Cocktail 2 which is not just one of the most anticipated releases of the year but also a proof to Shahid's versatility. Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 also features Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon in the lead and is the much awaited sequel to the 2012 release Cocktail. Marking the ace filmmaker's first collaboration with Shahid and Rashmika, Homi has collaborated with Kriti for the second time in Cocktail 2 and the movie hsa been of the most awaited releases of the year.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 recorded an occupancy of 9.31% during the morning shows today (day 7/ first Thursday)

Given the trend, Cocktail 2 is expected to see a slight hike in numbers today ahead of the release of Welcome To The Jungle. The movie, which had minted Rs 5.25cr on day 6, is likely to earn Rs 6-7cr today and will be crossing Rs 70cr. In fact, there are high possibilities of Cocktail 2 earning Rs 72-73cr nett in 1st week in India while the gross collection will inch close to Rs 90cr. To note, Cocktail 2 has earned Rs 1cr from the morning shows until 1pm

Meanwhile, talking about his character in Cocktail 2, Shahid Kapoor told Hollywood Reporter India, "What excited me more was the character. After a very long time, I'm playing someone who isn't alpha, edgy or morally grey. He's warm, relatable and genuinely likeable. Initially, I thought I'd get bored because I've done this space before, but I was also getting tired of constantly playing complicated characters".
