Cocktail 2 Box Office Collection Day 1 (Morning Trend): Rashmika Mandanna, who was last seen ion Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Thamma, is all over the headlines today. After all, she is here with her first Bollywood release of the year. We are talking about Cocktail 2 which also features Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 is a romantic comedy drama which is the spiritual sequel of the 2012 release Cocktail which featured Deepika Padukone, Diana Penty and Saif Ali Khan in the lead and had won millions of hearts back then.

To note, Cocktail 2 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and marked Rashmika's first collaboration with director Homi Adajania, Shahid and Kriti. In fact, as Shahid and Kriti were seen sharing the screen for the second time after Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Rashmika's entry in the film was one of the most talked about element of the film. From the stellar cast, to the hype around the franchise, and the peppy songs, Cocktail 2 has been creating waves around its release. And now that Cocktail 2 has hit the screens, it witnessed a surprisingly slow response during the opening shows

Cocktail 2 Morning Occupancy Day 1

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 recorded an occupancy of 11.08% during the morning shows today (day 1/ first Friday). Interestingly, Cocktail 2 has managed to beat the morning occupancy of Tere Ishk Mein (7.69%) and Thamma (10.26%), while it failed to beat the footfalls of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (11.46%) on opening day.

Interestingly, Cocktail 2, which opened to a mixed review from the audience has been struggling at the box office especially during the morning shows and failed to earn Rs 2cr. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 has earned Rs 1.81cr from morning shows until 12:30 pm today.

Meanwhile, talking about working with Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika stated, "There's no dull moment with him.. he would always make sure all of us are happy, smiling and taken care of. he's just that kind of a person you know you're going to have a good time when you go to the set with him.. it was really nice working with him and i really hope I get to work with him againn.
