Dhamaal 4 Box Office Collection Day 1 (Morning Trend): Remember the popular Dhamaal franchise? The treasure hunt based adventure comedy has been a popular series which has been winning hearts for years. And now, director Indra Kumar is making headlines as he has returned with the fourth installment of the franchise as Dhamaal 4. Touted to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year, Dhamaal 4 featured Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Esha Gupta, and Vijay Patkar.

To note, Dhamaal 4 marks Ajay's 6th collaboration with Riteish after Masti, Cash, Himmatwala, Total Dhamaal and Raid 2. Interestingly, this adventure comedy marks Riteish second release of the year and the actor's performance has been highly appreciated by the audience and critics. In fact, renowned film critic Taran Adarsh wrote, "#Dhamaal4 lives up to its title, taking the madness to an altogether new level... LOL moments in first half, excellent post interval, with tadka of emotions in climax... Don't look for logic - this one's a stressbuster". Released amid decent reviews, Dhamaal 4 witnessed a slow start at the box office during the morning shows
Dhamaal 4 Morning Occupancy Day 1
According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dhamaal 4 recorded an occupancy of 8.38% during morning shows on day 1. To note, it is less than half of the footfalls of Total Dhamaal which was around 20-25% during day 1 morning shows.

To note, Dhamaal 4 failed to earn Rs 2cr during morning shows. In fact, as per Sacnilk, Dhamaal 4 made a collection of Rs 1.82cr until 1pm today
Meanwhile, talking about the factors contributing to the success of a sequel, Ajay stated, "I think sequel tabhi work karta hai jab uske characters logon ko pasand aajaye. Chahe yeh (Dhamaal 4) le lijiye, Golmaal le lijiye. Woh characters ko naam se jaante hain. Ek baar characters ke saath audience jud jaati hai na toh we can take the story forward (I think a sequel works only when the audience connects with and likes its characters. Whether it's this franchise or something like Golmaal, people know those characters by name. Once the audience forms a bond with the characters, we can continue taking the story forward)".
