Dhurandhar 2 stormed the box office and is now the biggest opener of 2026. Trade circles report huge demand, with early estimates suggesting a Rs 400 crore first weekend. Long-term tracking even hints at a Rs 1,000 crore final figure.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film achieved massive advance bookings before release. Data from Sacnilk shows Dhurandhar 2 as only the fifth Indian title to cross Rs 200 crores gross in advance ticket sales, placing it in a very elite bracket.
Starring Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar 2 has also gone past the opening day record of Border 2. The new release did this on its first day in cinemas, setting a fresh high for 2026 and reshaping current box office discussions.

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge maintained strong box office momentum, even with a Day 2 dip. The film earned a net ₹80.72Cr on its first Friday, down 21.3% from Thursday’s net ₹102.55Cr. Cumulative net collections now stand at ₹226.27Cr, while total gross collections have reached ₹269.39Cr across all days.
Performance has been steady since paid previews. Paid previews generated a gross ₹51.60Cr and net ₹43.00Cr from 11,294 shows with 64.8% occupancy. Day 1 then jumped to gross ₹121.03Cr and net ₹102.55Cr over 21,633 shows, with occupancy at 67.8%. On Day 2, 20,125 shows delivered 62.6% occupancy alongside the net ₹80.72Cr, as per Sacnilk.
Dhurandhar 2 box office collection language-wise performance
Dhurandhar 2's Hindi version continued to grab maximum eyeballs, contributing the maximum to the overall earnings. Telugu version earned Rs 1.30 crore, as per Sacnilk's early estimates.
