Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 3 (India): Ranveer Singh returns with Dhurandhar 2, also titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and early figures show the espionage thriller dominating the box office. The sequel to Dhurandhar has posted the highest opening for any Bollywood film so far, giving Ranveer supporters much to cheer. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 continues the story of the original film, which became the highest grossing Hindi movie. The new instalment features Ranveer Singh with Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and Rakesh Bedi in major roles, forming a large ensemble.

Ranveer reprises the character Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, and critics have noted the intense, physically demanding look. Dhurandhar 2 is the second collaboration between Ranveer and Aditya Dhar, and strong promotion around the cast, trailer and songs helped create buzz. Early trade reports mention rave reviews and a huge opening day. According to box office figures, Dhurandhar 2 has delivered the biggest first-day collection in Bollywood history and became the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 100 crore. The thriller also held firm on the third day of release, leaving Ranveer Singh and the wide fan base on cloud nine.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 saw an impressive hike in numbers on day 3 (first Saturday) and recorded its highest single day collection (all languages combined). To note, Dhurandhar: The Revenge earned Rs 105cr in Hindi, Rs 1 lakh in Kannada, Rs 4 lakhs in Malayalam, Rs 2.95cr in Tamil and Rs 5cr in Telugu. This made the overall collection of Dhurandhar 2 to be Rs 113cr on day 3 and total collection of Rs 339cr after 3 days of release (all languages combined). Interestingly, Dhurandhar 2 became the fastest Bollywood film to cross Rs 300cr mark at the Indian box office.

With a total collection of Rs 113cr on day 3 at the Indian box office, Dhurandhar 2 has managed to beat Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer RRR which had minted Rs 102cr on its third day of release. However, it failed to beat Pushpa 2 which had earned Rs 119.25cr on day 3. This isn't all. Dhurandhar 2 also recorded the highest day 3 collection in Hindi belt after beating Jawan.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 has been roaring loud at the worldwide box office as well as it entered Rs 200cr club on the first day itself and Rs 400cr in two days of release. In fact, this Ranveer Singh starrer has managed to record the highest overseas collection for a Hindi film with an earning of Rs 65cr.
