Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge had extended its box office storm into the first Monday, turning weekday business into a headline event. The Ranveer Singh film posted a massive Day 5 figure, lifting its India net total to ₹519.12 crore, an achievement rarely seen so early in a run.
Estimates showed that Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge brought in about ₹65 crore net in Hindi on the first Monday alone, from a gross of ₹77.79 crore. This came on a regular working day, with no holiday support, yet the hold stayed far stronger than normal Monday falls.
Dhurandhar 2 managed to achieve the unthinkable. It collected the maximum numbers by a flm on a non-holiday working day, beating even Pushpa 2.
Dhurandhar 2 box office collection day 5 and extended opening weekend
The extended opening weekend numbers had already surprised trade trackers. The film started with paid previews, earning ₹43.00 crore net from ₹51.60 crore gross. That launch fed directly into Day 1, the first Thursday, when collections jumped to ₹102.55 crore net and ₹121.03 crore gross.
Business stayed very healthy over the next three days. On the first Friday, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge earned ₹80.72 crore net from ₹96.76 crore gross. The first Saturday grew again to ₹113.00 crore net and ₹135.15 crore gross, while the first Sunday peaked at ₹114.85 crore net and ₹137.43 crore gross.
Footfalls reflected this strong trend across single screens and multiplexes. Paid previews recorded 11,294 shows with 64.8 percent occupancy. Day 1 moved to 21,633 shows at 67.8 percent. Exhibitors scheduled over 20,000 shows daily through Monday, even as occupancy eased to 43.1 percent after the weekend rush.
Across five days, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge maintained impressive levels from previews through Monday, with each stage of the run building on strong word of mouth. The film’s sustained momentum over a non-holiday weekday placed its early performance among the most closely watched box office stories of the year.
According to Sacnilk's early estimates, Dhurandhar 2 earned Rs 65 crore on Monday (March 22).
