Early data shows the espionage thriller leading the national box office. The film has crossed Rs 100 crore in record time for a Hindi release, giving Ranveer Singh another major commercial win and drawing strong attention from Bollywood watchers. Trade analysts report that Dhurandhar 2 has registered the biggest opening day ever for a Bollywood film. Collections on release day have set a new industry benchmark. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 which had shown no hike in overseas on day 2, saw a significant jump in overseas market on day 3 (first Saturday) of around Rs 84.65cr. As a result, the overall overseas collection of Dhurandhar: The Revenge turned out to be Rs 149.65cr after three days while the total worldwide collection happened to be Rs 550cr.

With a total collection of Rs 149.65cr in three days in the overseas, Dhurandhar 2 has managed to beat the lifetime overseas collection of Stree 2 which happens to be Rs 144cr.
