Crime thriller Drishyam 3 (Malayalam) continued its strong theatrical run by the end of Day 7, with worldwide earnings reaching ₹183.08 Cr in gross terms, according to a report in Sacnilk. The film maintained steady footfalls across India and overseas markets, indicating sustained interest through the first seven days.

Within India, Drishyam 3 (Malayalam) achieved total net collections of ₹75.30 Cr by Day 7. The total India gross stood at ₹87.38 Cr for the same period. These figures came after one full week of release, covering both weekend peaks and weekday drops.

On Day 7 alone, the film earned a net of ₹6.65 Cr in India from 4,721 shows. This Day 7 figure reflected a 2.3% increase compared with Day 6, when the net collection had stood at ₹6.50 Cr, signalling a mild midweek rise.

Overseas markets also contributed strongly to the Drishyam 3 box office collection trend. The film collected ₹5.00 Cr abroad on Day 7. With this, the total overseas gross reached ₹95.70 Cr by the end of the first Wednesday, adding considerable weight to the overall worldwide tally.

The film opened on Day 1, a Thursday, with an India net of ₹15.85 Cr from 5,506 shows and 51.3% occupancy. Day 2, the first Friday, saw collections fall to ₹11.05 Cr, from 4,886 shows, with occupancy sliding to 44.5% as working day effects appeared.

Collections improved again on the weekend. Day 3, the first Saturday, recorded ₹13.70 Cr net from 5,185 shows with 50.2% occupancy. Day 4, the first Sunday, performed slightly better at ₹13.85 Cr, from 5,270 shows and the week’s highest occupancy of 51.8%.

Weekday figures showed a steady comedown after Sunday, with Day 5 registering ₹7.70 Cr from 4,684 shows and 35.3% occupancy. Even with the softer Monday and Tuesday numbers, the slight uptick on Wednesday helped Drishyam 3 (Malayalam) sustain a strong first-week box office profile in India and overseas.

Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam 3 is a clear winner when it comes to overseas earnings.

By Day 41, Bhooth Bangla collected a net of ₹0.55 Cr from 1,634 shows in India. Its cumulative India gross now stands at ₹208.60 Cr, with India net at ₹176.05 Cr. The film has earned ₹53.75 Cr overseas so far, pushing its worldwide gross to ₹262.35 Cr, ahead of Drishyam 3 at this stage.
